Privacy Policy on the Processing of Personal Data

1. General Provisions
This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) describes how Asmodeus (the “Operator”) collects, uses, stores and discloses personal data of visitors to https://asmodeus-studio.com in compliance with:
  • Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 (“GDPR”); and
  • Act No. 110/2019 Coll., on the Processing of Personal Data (the “Czech Data Protection Act”).
The Operator’s primary goal is to ensure respect for your fundamental rights and freedoms, including privacy and the protection of personal and family life.
2. Key Definitions
  • Personal Data – any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (“Data Subject”), such as name, e-mail address, phone number, IP address.
  • Processing – any operation performed on personal data, whether or not by automated means, including collection, storage, use, disclosure, erasure. (GDPR, Art. 4(2))
  • Controller – the natural or legal person who determines the purposes and means of processing personal data (GDPR, Art. 4(7)). Here: Asmodeus.
  • Processor – any natural or legal person who processes personal data on behalf of the Controller (GDPR, Art. 4(8)).
  • Consent – any freely given, specific, informed and unambiguous indication of the Data Subject’s wishes (GDPR, Art. 4(11)).
  • Supervisory Authority – the Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů (Office for Personal Data Protection of the Czech Republic).

4. Data Subject Rights
Under GDPR and Czech law, you have the right to:

  2. Access your personal data and receive a copy (Art. 15).
  3. Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data (Art. 16).
  4. Erase data (“right to be forgotten”) where lawful (Art. 17).
  5. Restrict processing in certain cases (Art. 18).
  6. Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format and transmit it to another controller (“data portability”, Art. 20).
  7. Object to processing based on legitimate interests or direct marketing (Art. 21).
  8. File a complaint with the Czech Supervisory Authority or seek judicial remedy (Art. 77–79).
5. Data Retention
Personal data are retained only as long as necessary for the purposes stated, unless a longer retention period is required by law or contract. Thereafter, data are securely erased or anonymized.
6. Data Sharing & Transfer
  • Third-party Service Providers: We may share data with trusted processors (e.g. hosting, e-mail delivery) under written contracts ensuring GDPR-compliant safeguards.
  • Legal Disclosures: We may disclose data to comply with legal obligations, court orders, or to protect rights and safety.
  • International Transfers: If personal data are transferred outside the European Economic Area, we ensure adequate safeguards (e.g. Standard Contractual Clauses, adequacy decisions).
7. Security Measures
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures—such as encryption, access controls, and regular audits—to ensure a level of security appropriate to the risk (GDPR, Art. 32).
